Re: Sunday 2nd July
A great run out, despite the organisational skills of a 70s British Leyland management meeting - the leader heads off using a totally different route to everyone else so we have one guy at the front happily flying along while the rest of us stare mystified at our Tomtoms as arrows go everywhere
I'm truly amazed that we managed to stay together as much as we did...and did I mention the timing precision? Normally, when someone says, "we're leaving at 7", you can safely assume 7.02 is a safe enough time to arrive. Oh no, I arrived at 6.57 and everyone was lined up, ready to go. And the 2 who did arrive at 7.02 had no chance, especially since they didn't have the actual route we were taking
But it was a fun run out and we all did finally converge on Frant fisheries for a great breakfast.
I'd like to have taken a picture but I was too scared I'd be left behind

Re: Sunday 2nd July
You covered it well Neil, fun but in a random fashion.
Certainly, we need to wait until all runners have arrived unless they are very late. I arrived at 6.55 and didn't have time to get out of my car. Steve and Russ had every right to be miffed, particularly as apparently Russ had messaged to say he was coming.
Great weather, good company and good breakfast though.
My dodgy toe has been finshed off my driving the Seven though, I haven't been able to walk since
