During the course of the year we aim to bring owners across the South together for a number of joint runs and meets, the list below is not exhaustive. We need the support and feedback of all owners to make these happen. So please, get your fellow owners involved with this site, contribute some ideas, and pack any apathy away until next winter.
1/Detling Kit Car Show. Looking to arrange a brekkie meet on the Sunday, the venue will be 20-30 mins from the showground. We'll meet up, enjoy some banter, brekkie and then convoy through some decent Kent roads to the Show.
2/ Le Blat: Proposed Date 24th April. So far we have 4 owners attending. Cost for the ferry is only £31, a days driving some lovely French roads with stops for lunch and coffee.
3/ Fish n Chip Runs. These will be held when the evenings lengthen, and destination will vary: Brighton, Eastbourne, Rye. Dates tba
4/ The Big Breakfast - venues will rotate, but we will definitely return to the Chalet at Cowfold where last Oct we had 50+ cars for the 1st one.
5/ Bentley Mark 2. A terrific turnout last Sept for the first event - more than 70 cars enjoying a balmy day. We will try to hold 2 of these this year and at present are looking for venues, one suggestion has been a day at Cowdray Park for the Polo.
Please feel free to PM me with any suggestions for group events.

Theres a Pub/Restaurant at a place called Harty Ferry on the Isle of Sheppey, Its actually called
The Ferry House Inn.
The Isle of Sheppey

www.theferryhouseinn.co.uk
The road to it is pretty twisty and the Beer/Food was good.
Could we tag this onto an evening run in the summer? or maybe a stop off after a East kent jaunt?

Agreed, maybe Ian likes to squeal like a piggy?
I wouldn't generally slow my car to below 10 mph on the Island, let alone park!
Actually I jest, there are some good pubs over there - just not in Sheerness.
