Bloody typical, the biggest show of the year and I can't go  For Christmas I got bought a tree jumping day with my eldest daughter at Bedgebury Forrest. Didn't know it was already booked and its the same weekend. Can't let my daughter down as I would never hear the last of it. Gutted :(

Erm tree jumping? I always thought they were pretty well rooted to the spot. You learn something every day.

Just had a chat with AshG, we are looking to travel up on Saturday morning, I'll be meeting up with him and another mate at Crossways, then pick up a further car near the M11 junction.

Chris / Ash, dont know if it works for you or if its geting too complicated, a few of us are heading up Saturday - plan is to meet other side of the tinnel at 11.00 , do the '25 to Waltham Cross and then A's across to the A5 and up that......if it works for you let me know...otherwise see you there...

NEWLANDS CORNER

I'll be setting of for Stoneliegh on the SUNDAY from Newlands Corner aiming to leave at 8:00 sharp & keeping to A & B roads as much as possible. Multi map assures me that'll the 100 miles will take in excess of 3 hours. We'll see. :D

If anyone wants to tag along for a bit of mutual support & if you think you can keep up with 100 throbbing crossflow horse-power  ( OK, 100 coughing & pinking crosflow horse-power) you'd be most welcome.

You do need to let me know though, 'cos if no-one registers an interest, I'll go direct & earlier.

I will join you a bit further along your route if the following conditions are met:
1. I have a leak free fuel system.
2. The wheels are back on the Fury.
3. The engine starts.
4. It's not raining and stays dry all day.

Pigs might fly? If you help them up the steps onto the plane, they will.
I am hopeful of points 1-3. 4 is perhaps a tall order...

At the moment we are planning to meet at 10am at Crossways, then pick up another at Jnc25 before heading for the 'A' roads from the A10.

Chris, that's the route i had in mind, but things are a bit fluid this end - so unless something major happens will cruise up there with DaxMatt, that way we can please ourselves a bit - depedning on what the weather Gods have in store for us! We're still planning on getting there mid afternoon.
