Track Day - 16th June 2016 SPA

Postby Nash » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:39 am

Anyone fancy a track day at the best race circuit you are likely to go to? It's a Thursday so it will mean a couple of days off work but oh so worth it.

You will need to be a member of LoT £30 ish and the hotel which is right on the circuit is about another £110 ish for the Wednesday night so the whole event with crossings and fuel, food etc is about £500 ish so not cheap but to context it that's about the same as an open pit lane Brands Hatch GP circuit track day and there is NO comparison.

Great track, but I think my Seven would hit terminal velocity rather early on those straights

Neil when do you go out? When do you go back? Where do you stay?

Paul, I'll sort it he details tonight and post up.

I'll go out on Wednesday, stay Wednesday night and come back Thursday night straight from the track. Will probably trailer the car there as it makes life easier. I'll also pay for 1/4 garage.

Great Neil

I would prefer to drive out and back. Saying that if it is wet and I can afford some trackday Tyres I might rent a trailer. Aeroman is a if possible as he is meant to be retiring but he does not get the concept

I cannot wait to have your help with knowing the circuit. :D What a trip :D :D :D

So just booked the track and the 1/4 garage

I've also booked the hotel

http://www.lotus-on-track.com/circuit_g ... ource.html

120 euros Plus 1 euro city tax.

Its the La Source Hotel. literally at the La Source corner. Booking is a bit of a challenge in that it asks for card details in the email but I've sent two separate emails with detail on. It was ok last time.

I have no real problem driving out there. Its just a more relaxed experience as you will be knackered after a day hacking around the track. Well the idiots without windscreens will. You'll be knackered hacking round at mach 1 :D

Game on.
