What a great morning! Well done for suggesting the run Chris

My phone rang at 6 am, text from Russ saying he was on his way to Lamberhust, good effort, you had an even longer run to the start than me!
Everyone was in good time. Steve's car had a slight rat rod vibe about the nose and rear wing, but was otherwise immaculate as always. Good to see Bob again, and Mike did well to get his drive shafts on in time for the run. We had a look under Russ's bonnet to inspect the engine- looks brilliant:
It sounds good too, although rather loud

Chris headed off at warp factor 9 and we didn't see him again until the cafe. In the meantime, we enjoyed pretty traffic free roads and glorious weather.
Near Tenterden, Russ was nearly out of fuel, even Mike had plenty left! So we stopped for him to fill up, and then to watch him search for his immobilizer fob that had fallen apart. Fortunately he found the important part and we were back in action.
I was forced into the lead, and still enjoyed a clear run down to Rye (sorry again for missing that tiny turn to the right everyone) and even the Udimore Road was clear until (near Battle), I got held up by an Aston Martin. We stopped for a comfort break:
A Lamborghini Urraco came past

, but then a gritting lorry parked next to us

The next part was completely ruined by a horse meeting, so when we reached the Burwash road Mike wisely headed straight for the cafe. I did get a clear run up the hill into Hurst Green which was fun

Here we are parked up together for a change:
We sat outside to avoid the noise/music (the waitresses were far too friendly and attractive) and enjoy the sun. Plenty of piss taking and chat with a good coffee and nice breakfast, what more could we ask for?
