ok so i live much closer to buck barn now and so dont need to leave home so early,
but i did anyway :D , arriving early to find richard filling elenor up with fuel and
kevin already parked up ....cant they sleep or what,i thought i was the early bird,
we were soon joined by the other runners (except paul who had a car problem, but fixed it and joined us at the cafe)steve and robert went slip sliding about on the same A24 r/bout on the way to bb,
so all assembled we set off 10 min early,
the roads were damp with many a large puddle but that didn't really deter anyone from
a half decent pace, not much traffic and all in all not a bad route taking in many a B road,
a few unclassified roads and finally a few A roads to the cafe,
steve had been leading followed by matt and kevin but somehow ended up behind me,
(tail end charlie)
duncan had arrived at the cafe 30min before us and already had breakfast,
roger also met at the cafe in his lotus but is still suffering a lot of pain having had problems with his new knee joint....well done roger .

my thanks to today's runners

till next time
stay safe out there

Thanks Graham, as always great run
Was going to bring the new beast but Matt and I decided strip it down the night before but gearbox needs sorting, so it’s not so easy to put in reverse gear when you think it’s in first.
Nice morning for a a little 70mile +
Good catch up

Well done to every one who brought an interesting car :)
Sounds like it was another good run, and the breakfast was up to the usual Chalet standard. Very busy with MX5s, Smart cars and a few bikers filling all the tables.

Nice to have a good chat, sorry I wimped out but the Seven has no wheels ...........Matt offered to fix that for me so better find a better excuse

Steve's new Elise looked great, although Roger's original stands up very well beside it, timeless styling.

Kev and Matt (the two kits two) brought their normal steeds, and nice to see the Xtreme.

How did you get on with your misfire on the way home Rich?

Duncan, Only had 3 spare leads so changed 3 only at Chalet, made no difference when under load, so pulled over a few miles down the road and changed back the last lead with one of the originals, also changed the plugs, still not difference, then changed over the cap and checked the wiring, seemed to make a difference then still had a few hickups on the motorway.

Great run this morning, good to catch up with everyone.

I didn't take any pics as forgot

Chalet was very busy, with all the MX5's there we were spoilt for choice on who did our hair

The car is absolutely filthy now too, wouldn't mind doing that run with drier roads that for sure. Hope you get to the bottom of your running issues Rich.
