Yup, many thanks Graham and particularly to Bob, who not only travelled all the way here but also paid for my breakfast, thus erasing forever the myth of Scottish tightfistedness :D

Thanks to everyone who came along along, said hello and made us welcome . Great to meet you all and put some faces to names. Thanks Graham for the loan of the pre programmed tom tom and for setting a good route. I'm taking the credit for bringing the sunshine from Scotland :)

It was good to see (and hear) A very mixed selection of cars.

Duncan wore his SKCC 'Bridging Borders' t shirt that we had made for one of the Rogue Runners tours which was a nice touch.

Breakfast was tasty and very reasonably priced but the black pudding doesn't compare to Stornoway black pudding. Glad to be able to rescue a hungry man when the card machine was faulty :)

All in it was just short of 1100 miles for us for the weekend. Sunny in the south and pissing down in the north when we headed home today.

Hopefully see you all again soon for another SKCC meets SKCC.

Bob
