What a great morning for a run, and, what a great run that was too this morning!!
Two different runs starting from the same start point meant there must have been about 20 cars at the start point (I didn’t actually count them). Our run took about 12 of those cars (again I didn’t count) East from Edenbridge to Romney Marsh down roads that we have never done before, fast roads with lovely sweeping bends that felt in some parts like a proper track circuit!!
After a piss stop in an equally great location we then fired round the Lydd and Camber rings, highlight of that part was overtaking Ricky as we left Camber when he was determined to try and not let me!!
Good breakfast at Hawkhurst fisheries however under the current circumstances it took a long time to arrive!!
Till next week folks

Looks like you had a nice group of cars on your run,
Shame I couldn’t make it but done something to my knee, painful to bend
Hopefully next time

Yeah, great run - much less bumpy than last week, nice bacon and egg bap (eventually) and great end point - seems that half the 7s in the SE ended up there as well as a bevvy of Porsches.
Felt like a Lotus dealership at the start point

A few of us have been going out for the last month or so but didn't want to put it on a public forum. I guess the " few" seems to have grown somewhat.
From now on I think its safe to return to the old ways so long as we abide by the guidelines.

Re: Sunday 14 June
What an awesome morning. Over the years we have travelled far and wide covering what feels like every road in the south east however today Tony outdid himself. We WILL be doing this route again . Feeling like a change I removed the screen Saturday evening and returned to an aero screen for todays run. Apart from loosing everything on my head during an overtake its staying on. The angle needs adjusting to deflect the air flow higher but the improved field of vision brings a new confidence to push on a bit harder.
Breakfast sitting on a grass bank in the sun was a fitting end to the morning.
More of the same please....
