Oh yes, not long now, where's one of Neils countdown clocks when you need one ??
Myself, Bryan, Rob and Paul have just booked a trip to the Nurburgring on the 16th June, 15 miles of tarmac and 73 bends are waiting for our arrival
We've booked the 8.30am P&O ferry on the 15th and will be blatting down to Spa in Belgium where we'll camp overnight, on the 16th we'll drive the rest of the way to the ring to 'compete' in at least 4 laps during the evening session. Beer, fine food and camping will follow in the evening of the 16th followed by an adventurous drive back to Calais for the 8.40pm ferry on the 17th.
Now, we wont be hanging about, and the plan is to avoid the local gendarmerie and get out of France asap.
Does anyone have any hints, tips, routes, camping or food experience they can share with us ??
If anyone else wants to join us then feel free, we've already booked the ferry but everything else will be paid for out there, should be an excellent 3 days

This route from Malmedy (just south of Spa) to the ring.
And if they're your first laps of the ring, don't "compete", it will likely end in tears... (sorry to be a bore/old fart/spoil sport!)

Paul, calm down mate !! we'll need a bigger first aid box at this rate!
Maybe I should drill a few more holes in your bonnet to shed some weight?
Please ignore the following photo's as it might just tip you over the edge

Neil why don't you join us as i don't think you actually have to be from Uckfield to go.
We could do with someone with a firm hand to control Paul.

I have a vid clip of someone who was soooooo excited, they beached the car at the first bend at the half way entrance near Adenau. Now that's funny!
If it is your first time, please don't think you will be 'quick'. You won't be.
Just take a deep breath once you pull out from the ticket barrier and keep your eye on the road behind as well as in front. It's bleeding awesome but sooooo f'in dangerous. Breath out when you pull back into the car park
