Haven't seen any. When I went pass it was side on to the road with bits missing front and back. In the clip it didn't look like the M3 had actually had any damage...not sure he hit the M3 at all.

I watched that several times, I do not know the track at all. But its a tricky one to call, the BMW was not on a line you would assume to use to drive through those two bends at full speed, so I would have assumed he was letting me past especially when he braked. So up to that point, a fair manouver albeit risky around the outside of a bend (not knowing what the briefing rules were). It all went tits up when despite all the driver aids known to man on an M3, he lost it (probobly switched them all off). So i'd say it was a 50/50, and if he'd have hit me i would not have complained to him. I was attempting an overtake on the outside of a bend, a left / right combo at that, and unfortunately he lost it unintentionally. I'd only have a moan if he moved across on a straight bit into me, that's not on. I have done far riskier overtakes than that, I think Mr. Evo was just unlucky but i am sure he knew the risks. I hope his Evo was driveable off the track or he would have one god almighty repair bill!!!! Would he have had to pay for the armco Jeff as it was a trackday???

Looks like you had a great time out there Jeff, I still need to tick the 'ring box off on my CV!

Yes, he has to pay for the Armco. The overtaking rules where simple....the car in front must indicate and pull over to let you through on the left. The Evo certainly was not invited through by the M3 driver.

You pay for any damage/clean-up or closure on the Ring on tourist or trackdays.
