nah not justifying to anyone Nick, merely explaining that with a degree of selflesness between 2 partners there should be plenty of time for activities / hobbies, be that golf ( how many blokes play each weekend with the average round taking 3 hours + travelling time a cheeky coffee/beer after) or cars......the reality for many is that the weekends are considered important for 'recharging the batteries' - that can be the only reason why they're still in bed at 9am when they have a nice toy sitting in the garage and the rest of us are already nearing the end of a full english after a blat. I exclude those with youngsters. Life IMHO is a balance, and luckily my missus understands that point.
I think that either some other halfs or perhaps the hubbies view playing with the car differnet to many other 'acceptable' pursuits ( i've used golf already ) , but what about the blokes who have a cheeky midweek beer after work and get in at 9-10pm? are they equally 'lucky' that they can get away with such behaviour? Nah, 'lucky' doesnt come into it - its unhealthy not to have interests outside of home/family life.

Right, NOW who's up for this run!

anymore for anymore.....? i know it'll be weather dependant, but useful to know who is in/interested - because then we can have an idea of a sensible radius for either a pub / run/ food!
so please shout out.....
