Here are a couple of pics. Lots of kit cars, few grockles. I'll bung a few more in next month's magazine...

I've driven the Winnats Pass a few times (sadly not in the Westy) and it is awesome. Got to be careful of the sheep wandering all over the road though! In fact, most of the roads in that part of the country are great.

I think an SKCC long week-end next year might be worth thinking about. Some good camping up there too.

I got a bit distracted phaffing about taking photos to enjoy it properly - and none of the pics came out in focus anyway...

I have a hankering for a "roadtrip" next year. I have it in my head to go up the west coast and come back down the east coast without doing motorways. See how far up I can get? "Wick" would be a challenge but more interested in roads, scenery and interesting places then how far.

There are some stunning roads in the Highlands. I reckon car magazines would use them all the time if they weren't so far away, but they're well worth the effort.

Blimey - I'm sure there are plenty of fabulous roads we could find without hitting that far north albeit I accept the less people, the less cars (and more sheep :o ).
I would be up for a 4-5 day tour somewhere next year if there was a plan forming........ :P
One for a winter meet, beer, campaign plan, show of hands?
Another thread at some point.
