Sat 4th Run to East Anglia......

Postby greenwoo » Mon Aug 30, 2010 12:11 pm

Right with Lydden dead and buried i fancy a long'ish run out.
Am working out the details but essentially it'll be leaving Kent ( meeting around the Swanley Junction of the m25 ) at around 6.30 and heading up through Maldon into Suffolk. The plan will get some detail during the week, but roughly - a spot of brekkie, + a couple of hours blatting and then a lunch stop - before turning and heading for home. We'll be getting back to the Tunnel latest 5pm.

i did find some brilliant roads around Fambridge and Southminster (near Burnham) the other weekend during a mates' wedding festivities. Made my mind up to go and do them in the tiger but not next weekend as I have promised sooooo many other things I'm doing - to be entirely without criticism the following weekend :)
Enjoy - if you want a pointer for those roads, just set the sat nav for the bendy ones ;)

If you're going anywhere near Hedingham, try the B1058. Probably not worth a major detour for, but if you're nearby it's well worth a go...
