22nd Sept - Sorry
I know I had suggested a Western area group run out this Wednesday but I have really run out of time and cannot make it anyway. I'm going away the week after next and my car comes off the road from Oct too so it may have to be next April! Where did that summer go to?
Richard.

It really was a Summer to remember, for me anyway - Nurburgring - fantastic experience, Wales - absolutley superb, breakfast runs, Le Mans recreation, evening runs and plenty of laughs, piss take, commaraderie (cant be bothered to look up how to spell that one), banter and above all friendships formed

jesus, sounds like a wake and I'm reaching for the hankie as I type
I am waiting for those really bright sunny November mornings, wrap up warm, take the grommet out to let the engine heat into the passenger footwell and get out for a cracking 'fattie boy' brekkie. Where's the summer gone?? have a f'in laugh and keep it on the road!

Well said chaps. I've had a top summer with you guys and I'm really looking forward to the engine upgrade and running it in over the winter.
The low points, bent metal, bent collarbones, bloody heads, camping at Stoneleigh in the monsoon, are all placed into legend and lost in the euphoria of, IVA passed, Le Blat un, Breakfast runs (Deal, Bexhill, Hawkhurst Fisheries, Rye), Le Blat Deux, Southwaus run, BGH run, Le Mans recreation, Detling BBQ, and the miles went on and on. For me that was a great 2010. SO FAR
2011 should be even better now we have the above experience behind us.
Roll on the close season and 2011 and let's get back.
......... Neil

no intension of taking the car off the road, try to get out a bit more with you guys when i can all year long.
Although i have only had the car on the road 2 1/2 years this period since meeting you lot has been some of the best, certainly not done as many miles before and nice to meet like minded people.
Most get the opertunity to have a good few beers some time.
Got to stop now i'm welling up.

You described it as the close season. I was using it to differentiate between the miles I'll do in the winter and the miles I'll do in the summer.
