I've had a look around for things to do on the Saturday & found this walled town http://www.informationfrance.com/montreuil-sur-mer.php Not sure if that's where you stopped off on the Monday in 2014? (I didn't go that year). Obviously it's nothing more than a suggestion, what do others think?

 we have visited there, I think in 2014. I remember James and Mango having their picture taken playing with a cock :? :?

Happy to visit again if we can get the cock jokes over with before we go

yes and a very large pair of cocks they were too. Almost as large as the lump of cake I munched from the very good local bakery. An interesting place which has a castle which we couldn't get into as it was closed due to it being lunchtime! Typical French attitude towards the public. And yes it was a Monday visit. Another place is La Coupole near St Omer which Jill and I visited once before, very interesting. However, happy as always to go with the flow.

Anyone interested in extending the trip a little?

For once the date falls in the middle of the school hols, so my wife won't be back at work on the Monday. We're thinking of going to Lille which is 45mis from Bethune. Got no plans apart from:- leave Rallye, go to Lille, eat some tea, look around the town, go to hotel, sleep, have breakfast, look around some more, go home.
