Thanks all, I just need to clear coat the scuttle next to give it some UV protection.

Really pleased with how the spread tow racing stripe is coming out, My dear old mum saw me cutting the carbon fiber fabric templates and said I have inherited her dress making skills LOL.

The spread tow is the same stuff they use for some of the F1 skirts as it's thinner, lighter and takes less percentage resin than normal twill, but I just like the look :)

...Which is why if you go to BAE Systems Samlesbury site where they make the carbon parts, you'll find the hanger completely full of women, because they understand the drawings, warp / weft / pleats / darts etc.

The hole cut nice slowly/slowly I pre-drilled the center hole before using the hole cutter, just need to make a nice carbon fibre support bracket now with the circular hole pattern, enter Fusion360 :)

Finally the scuttle is finished and installed it's so strong it's like a crash safety cell. Been a long project making the split mould and product clear coating but I'm super pleased with the results for a hobbyist carbon maker:) Aeroscreen next.
