Brands Hatch AutoSolo - 4th September

Sevenoaks and District Motor Club are holding a AutoSolo at Brands on the 4th Sept. Autosolos are timed runs round cones at 1st/2nd gear speeds so quite tight courses. There is a class for kitcars and the only requirement is you are a 7Oaks member (£15) and are running on road-legal tyres/car is taxed & MoTed. Tyres must not be on list 1B so no R888, R1R etc.

So there are no safety requirements (no helmet, race suit etc or rollbars to MSA spec).

The Autosolo will take place in the Brands paddock area I would think and consists of 4 courses and 3 runs on each course (best 2 runs on each course to count).

While not at the speeds of Sprinting this is a great entry into motorsport at a cost of £15 membership and £55 entry fee. I can forward the entry forms/regs to anyone who is interested.

does look like a good hoot....although not sure about that guys need for a map by the dash
clearly having a handbrake of sorts could be useful
