Sourcing injectors

Postby russtik » Wed Jul 12, 2017 3:20 pm

Where can I get a reliable source of GENUINE injectors (e.g. Weber) at the cheapest possible price? :D

eBay is awash with crappy copies. I'm after some circa 330cc injectors to go in some Jenveys.

As your not after anything to large you could do a search for original equipment injectors and then go to a motor factors. Bosch seem to supply so many cars now. the only issue you could have is you may need to adjust the length and what plug conectors you are using. Don't forget you need to find out what your ecu supports saturated or peak and hold ( low or high impedance ) another good make is the small pico injectors.
Do you want me to go through my box's to see what I have or are you after new?

Not necessarily looking for brand new, just want something of decent quality, that's performs as it should and without spending more than necessary :)

Not an expert myself Steve, though I wouldn't have a problem buying secondhand especially a good brand like Bosch or Siemens. You can get them sonically cleaned and flow matched to ensure they are a matched set, add some new seals, caps and filters as required, jobs a good'un.

I've bought them from Emerald before, also had some used ones serviced by them as well.

I have an unused set of 2.0 Blacktop ones that came with the crate engine if they're any good to you, I keep meaning to put the entire inlet on Ebay, but never get round to it.
