Forced to drive a friend home

Just been away for a quick Hoon to Reims over the weekend. One of the guys got pulled for doing 110 in a 70. He got a fine of 130 Euros and a 30 day instant fine.

So, as I had been co-drive in a Aston Martin he asked me to drive him to the tunnel. I could hardly say no

I seem to remember Hammond and Clarkson got instant bans and had to have members of the crew drive the cars out of France too. What was it like to drive? I suppose you had to keep the speed down a bit in the circumstances

Aston fan myself, though the GT3RS is a brilliant car. Great opportunity Paul, Is it a proper supercar in your view?

I was very surprised that the ride was so good.

When you pull off from cold the ceramic brakes make some noise and are a bit snatchy until they get warm. The car is very quick and easy to drive. I did not explore the true performance of the car as frankly the car is so much quicker than me. That said you look down and you are doing well into three figures and Martin saying mine yourself you will be getting a ban too.

It feels like a track day special. But also like a Supercar and you would have spent less wedge than some cars on the trip.

The car was fantastic, confidence inspiring and I cannot wait for a drive on a track please Martin.

Pleeeaasse tell me it was purple??? A dream car if it was.i recently went to the porsche centre for the gt3 day ( a great day by the way a real education not just a go in a porsche) there was a few gt3 rs and a gt2rs there..the mrs didnt give in to the pleading
