I had a contract with social services to look after 70 of the blue things. They were brilliant as you could modify them for assorted of disabilities! Shame someone has not designed cars that can be driven by people disabled by thalidomide for example. Graham Hill put the death Nell on these.

They also gave me the original AC badges for my AC Cobra replica :D

Maintenance, I seem to recall my first cars, and motorbikes, ALWAYS needing some form of maintenance, on a weekly basis, just so they could live another week to get me to work to pay for the bits and maintenance, to get to work ..........

Rear exhaust boxes, again, an mot failure EVERY year, yet ive not changed any part of my exhausts on any of my cars for nigh on 30 years

Four star fuel, I bet my 7 would fly if we still had that now

When BAe Dunsfold closed in 2000, someone pointed out that there was a large underground tank of full-fat leaded four star, they couldn't leave it there as it was a "hazardous material", they couldn't sell it, because it had been outlawed, so much to the site managers irritation they had little option but to give it away to those of us who's cars would run on it :D :D - & yes, the crossflow Rickman did go noticeably better.
