New Seats

Postby Wingco » Fri Jun 08, 2018 8:11 pm

Would just like to say a couple of thank you's. I bought some new seats, JK Compersite ones and thought i would give it a go and fit them, Doh not a good idea, well for me !!
Snodhurst were given a call , so I dropped my seats of with the car a couple weeks ago, i was away the first week and I collected it today.
So new seat's led to new seat belt, which led to a decent make being ordered etc etc etc.
So the problems were, the seats didn't fit due to the old seat belt anchorage points were clip on, so you had a eye let sticking out where the seats wanted to be, I needed to get bolt on ones. My super six is narrower on the passenger side so the side had to be modified a bit, also the seat need a little modification, which were all done in a very professional manner by the Snodhurst crew.
They have a couple of kits in there at the moment all wanting work done so I was lucky to get in, plus the garage has been mega busy in there daily work, and then you have the big race on Saturday so they have been busy trying to get Jay's car ready.
Also A thank you to Tony T for taking me to collect my car today.

Very nice Colin, look great. Well done Snodhurst for the usual working things out and find an answer.
