Awesome result again team Snodhurst. All kudos to you Jay for attacking that track, well away from the home turf and first time out there, it must’ve been nerve racking. Despite that sounds like some great racing and a great result. Really impressed with how things have been going to all concerned.

Brilliant team Snodhurst particularly Jay as the sim only helps you know which way the track goes and changing it makes for a very steep learning curve. :D :D Add to that some big commitment corners and concrete walls and your results are very impressive :D :D

Looking forward to the video :D

The results have been published with the lap times and give an insight into just how hard Jay and the others in his race are pushing. The modified saloon cars are very nice and run any tyre they like so on a dry track they are on big slicks, now if you add to that the cars are ex wrc 4wd escorts / older btcc bmw plus a last years winning Holden Commodore from down under you can see the class of cars they use for these races. Not slow and sure not built by people with no budgets.
So to lap times the track was 2.44 miles and these super cars did a lap in 1 min 53 sec so not hanging about. Now take the lower tintop cars Jays poor little civic was only able to post a lap time of 2 min so 7 sec away from the modified cars. Now without a magic wand i cant see how he could go any faster with what he had. Im sure with a big injection of cash towards a new engine he could get it down a bit.

Nice shot Jay, looks like one of the pro’s with a media pass.

Picked up a couple of prints today, the assistant made my day, no word of a lie.. without prompting, she was very complimentary said they were great shots and asked if I was a professional.

Before you ask there were no guide dogs or white sticks in sight.. she wasn’t keen on the ricer though. ;)
Power.. small nail, fast hammer, Torque.. small nail, big hammer.. I got a big hammer :P

Sorry to be late to the party. So Jay another cracking days racing and a couple of good results. Big congrats to everyone involved. Team Snodhurst pulled it out of the bag again. Can't wait for Neil's report with the extra cameras on board. Love all the photos , and the last one is very good, shows you just how hard you were pushing the car.
Congratulations to everyone.
