I've been with the AA since I started driving a decade ago and have called them out several times every year (don't ask...).

With one notable exception, I've always found them really good which is why I've stay loyal to them. They were excellent a couple of years ago when I was stranded in Europe with a written off camper van (and therefore without transport or accommodation without their help).

We've been with Green Flag since they were National Breakdown way back in the early 1980's. Brilliant company, brilliant cover and always there within 40 mins or so. Tip: Always use 'personal cover' as it covers you for any car you happen to be in.
Richard.
Dax Rush 5.0l TVR V8, EFI with Megasquirt ECU and wasted spark, Racelogic Traction Control, Quaife LSD. Now with big brother 1973 TR6 being totally body-off restored.

Have to be careful with the free bank ones as they love to remove it without telling you (or putting it in small print on some changes leaflet). Then your buggered when it's needed :(

Free EU Breakdown cover on my Footman James policy, which I used several years ago in Ireland when my alternator died. They were able to source a replacement for me and get it delivered and fitted in a morning.

Steve
