Rear lights for a westy

Postby kitey » Sun Aug 22, 2010 3:48 pm

Hi everyone had a nightmare of a day header tank cap split so car was loosing water all over my feet.

Anyway i brought some round rear lights for my car at the kit car show at detling. Only had my car a week or so then so didn't know too much about it. I brought the carbon fibre effect holders from the Europa stand thinking that the holders would fit with a little cutting but after returning today and trying to fit the holders found that they are not going to.

Has anyone got the real westfield one's on there car that could let me know how well they fitted please,,,,,,, many thanks.

My car is a wide body with fixed rear arches if that makes alot of differnce.

I feel your pain fella. You were lucky the split header didn't burn your feet. It's quite a common event to have scaldered feet from these types of incident.

As for the lights can you not exchange them for the right ones ?

Best snap a match as bad things happens in threes.

Is it the lights that don't fit the holders? Or the holders don't fit the car. If it's the holders then can you describe what the actual problem is? Or even better post a picture.

Is it not possible to get the holders from Westfield? If not sell them to me
