nowt to do with me how you invest your hard earned Lee....but my for my 2 cents, i think you mentioned reliability with the Tiger? It's always struck me that although I like the concept of a bec i'd personally be thinking about reliability and who/where to go when there's a problem.
OK, that sounds a bit neg and i know there's loads that race/sprint etc, but if it were me, i'd be weighing up the pro's/cons and what to do mid season if there's a problem.

for sure aside from bec/cec i'd be weighing up whether i truly want a car sat at home that might non road legal, cos although your circs may prevent you doing Tours etc - having a competition toy that oly gets a few airings a year is far from having something like the Tiger where you can go for a 30min blast of an evening/early morn to blow the cobwebs....

Totally agree mate. And this is the bloody conundrum im facing. I took the tiger out on saturday for a 2 hour blat and i just couldnt do that with a race only car...
Im sure youve heard my go through this phase before anyway... Like last time when i rebuilt the engine...then the body work...
I suspect...we will be having this same convo in another two years mate...

Keep it road legal if you can, wished the green car was and would probably have done more events with it.

How about a £25k Avon?

To be fair some nice bits on it like sequential box.
