Re: Rolling Road
I need mine doing. Let us know how you get on there. And how it works now we’re not allowed to watch. Which is a shame because that was part of the whole experience last time I rolling roaded a car.

Re: Rolling Road
Andy never seemed to like letting people watch and I spent most time in the hut on the 3 occasions i have been there.

Re: Rolling Road
So today as the day, arrived at 8:30 and met Andy who then told me that the burger van had been towed away the day before... no breakfast for me then
He checked everything over and seemed very thorough. Noticed the wrong plugs were fitted and quickly ordered the correct ones which were 10mm longer.
First run on the rollers, not great 151bhp / 153lbs ft. So carbs out of balance and timing out compared with ECU.
Corrected these and new plugs fitted, carbs balanced..
second run 180bhp / 158lbs ft
So much better and more what I was hoping to see.
Andy said with some re jetting and tweaking he could get it up by another 10 but ran out of time for today.
So 30 bhp gain for £140 and now runs much smoother

Money well spent. As Duncan said, 180 is plenty.
