Yes, well you may have a light car but I would imagine your right foot weighs about the same

gauge is pretty accurate. its saying half and looking into the tank it looks like half. im quite suprised myself as i have got the cbs 250ohm sender and my digi dash likes either 100 or 510ohm senders. a good thing about my digi dash is that i can set it to flash when the tank is low. to set it up i put 5l of fuel in the tank then played about until the dash was flashing at 5l of fuel.

so unfair!! it takes 30 liters when epmty, now if i drive in a OAP fashion a style most of you are akin with
then i can get 190 miles to the tank, on a track day like brands then i will do a tank in about 95 miles
i suppose on the road with spirited drives i average about 140 miles.. so not too bad or good for that matter

I know what you mean James.....'spirited' road work, i reckon i get late 20's, poss 30mpg - whizz round the track and its a single figure job. Last time i did a day at Brands i used 2 and a half tanks for about 150 miles ( max the tank holds is 34 litres, i normally don't brim it )....
Hah, and there's me insisting the missus has a diesel car as her next daily driver

I have a Diesel as my daily driver
Unfortunately its a 3.1 TD pulling the best part of 2.5 tonnes (no Ben not just with me in it
)
Having said that I get about 27 MPG around town
About 27 MPG on the motorway
and about 27 MPG if I'm towing the car
