noisey tappets

at lest the black top has shimes , the st you have change the buckets at £350 ,so he has reseated the valves to close the gap, still ticke. not a happy boy its a nightmere at the moment cheers paul :(

picking car up today ,not happy with what hes done ,165 hp not the 190hp , so in the winter find somebody to do it agine , thats if it lasts that long ,and me hair will be long agine by than 8-) so any ideas guys , wish i had stuk to my idea and put new 2 lt zetec with my injetion sytem i fell ripped of :x cheers paul

35bhp is a big difference. What hasn't he done that he promised? I'd be wanting some money back!!!

the inlet ports on the sti is not the same ,so its not floing right he didint know this so head needs a rework , so it needs somebody who knows about them cheers paul

165BHP is about right for a 2lt Blacktop Zetec on injection. What spec is your engine ??

its sti 170 with cat hi lift cams , with a griffin power inlet manfold , omax 600 ecu , so at flywheel as a stanerd engine puts 170hp

Interesting spec. Is this something someone is doing for you (mapping the Omex etc) ? The Griffin is a unusual choice compared with Jenvieys or Bike ITBs. Does the OMEX trigger the VVT?
