I do not mind calling for an autonomous electric car for my tip run or shopping. :o

But petrol cars and the infrastructure will be in place long after I am gone. That said it is going to get more expensive to run petrol and personal cars. :(

The good news is they will pay me to scrap the Mondeo :D :D

What makes me laugh is all our current nueclar power stations are due to be decommissioned by 2023 and the nation is going to need roughly 20 nueclar power stations to replace the unpolluting needs of the government's proposals to replace all the current use of hydrocarbons. GET BUILDING !!!!

I think its volvo who are stopping making purely petrol and diesel cars next year because "of demand"..hybrids maybe not so bad for getting to work once they have sorted the batterys out but for fun...petrol will always be king.
