The one I’ve just contacted wants 1,000 of your finest English pounds just for the BONNET. Bloody hell a new one from Westfield is ONLY 700 odd.

A bit of P40 and some gelcoat should sort it

hole y poop (see what I did there). Very strange, some of the denso alternators are designed for slow revving diesel engines, maybe it was beyond its design limits?
Siltec do a carbon nose and bonnet I think. was talked about recently on the westy forum.
