Hi Tony
Sorry cannot help with your BMW dilemers.
But just thought I would share with you on the MG Midget scene.
I have just bought myself (2) one roadworthy and one box of bits as a project, something for the winter and one I can use to help me get out and about a bit more.
I have been so busy this year I have not been able to get out on any runs at all. :(
How are you getting on with your one, what spec is it???????????
Do you have any problems with yours that I should look out for?
Mine are 77 reg box of bits but very reasonable body and chassis came with lots of parts
The other 76 reg On the road very good condition picking it up tomorrow from Felistowe
Both rubber bumper type but both will be shedding lots of lbs.
God them front bumpers weigh a bloody ton.
Bill

Bill,

Well done, 2 Midgets, I'm impressed, PM me your email and I can send you the spec of mine. As for problems to watch out for, the ARB mounts under the chassis aren't upto the job particularly if if you fit an updated ARB, just had mine reinforced!

Any pictures of your purchases?

Cheers Tony

We ditched the run flats asap they ruin the ride and rhe handling.now have ps4 on the back and sportsmax on the front.ps4 is a cracking tyre but not cheap but do last the sports max cheaper seem to grip well only done 5k on them so dont know about how they will last.both a lot quieter than the run flats to.320d is a great motor.much better than a skoda with expensive servicing (audi ;) )
Luego with a mighty 104bhp!!!

I was driving BMW's for the last 20years and changed to Audi this year. I can say that the A4 3.0 quattro I have now is a way better car than my old M£ or any of the M cars I had.

Ditch the run flats ASAP I had no end of broken M rims mate
