Jay mentioned these, at the time I thought he meant the coupe.. crossfire. It’s a definite contender, definitely VFM and I’ve always liked the styling. Will take a closer look,

Got to be one of the worst cars ever made i think i would buy a lada over one of these

No one said it needs to stay in one piece :)

How about a bit of Japanese then...

You still traumatised? it was funny, for me anyhow. For others benefit, one of those “you had to be there” moments.. perhaps not standing next to Jay. He was preoccupied on his phone pacing around on the drive next to the garage. I sneaked up in the daily driver on the electric, mounted the kerb and lent on the horn just before I was about to hit him. Didn’t expect to get quite so close without him noticing me, thought he had a heart attack.  Shame the dashcam wasn’t plugged in, would have got £250 off beadle for that. :D

Anyhow I digress. Not that keen on the electric options, not many cheap ones about, all with limited range also. The later Renault Zoe’s range improved, though more money.

I have put an offer on a car, should hear tomorrow. Needs a little bit of TLC, cambelt, service etc, a nice thing, 8-), also european and I would be surprised if you guess what make AND model it is.

Nice motor, quite fancied it in the C30, clocked a nice one on the bay but it’s miles away.

Was going to suggest the same (had mine for over 4 years now). Got to have more than four cylinders in a diesel or it sounds dreadful. 185bhp and 300lbft. Newer ones a bit more. Rarely use all the horses in mine.

Alfa Romeo 166 with the 3.0 petrol engine - why let a plan get in the way of a car you really want to drive.
