Rob, a bit of both. We spent a fair bit of time getting it together as we wanted it but it was, and especially from Jill’s perspective, too much like a normal car and we decided that as we are getting longer in the tooth and nearer various joint replacements we would return to our roots. Also the GTM was difficult to get in and out of which is important to the more senior driver!

Well the previous chapter ended a while back but today the new chapter started. The new baby arrived, a 2011 Caterham Roadsport which is now safely tucked away in the garage for the night. Jill and I had a quick tootle around the lanes this afternoon and all feels great. Realised now that we had missed our roots and great to be back in a Seven.

What good taste in cars you have :D

Looks in better condition than mine, I bet the mileage is a lot lower too.

If those are the original Avon tyres, I would swap them asap. They weren't great when new. I'm getting Uniroyal Rain Expert 3s fitted to my rims as they're being reconditioned, only £45 a corner fitted from our local tyre place and much better than the Avons in poor conditions.
