I'm fitting a koso Xr srn the same as I fitted in the striker.
It's pretty much wired up now and the tidying of the rest of the loom is as much as it's getting, ideally it could do with a complete rewire/ new loom but not right now.
I have just spent the last hour or so stripping out the boot box and adjusting the fuel sender to read empty at the right time. It now shows empty with about 3 litres left in the tank rather than still showing a quarter

I'm keeping the MK and the Striker is up for sale as I prefer the MK.
I find the Striker too small for me and there's something about it that I just don't like I cant put my finger on it but I'm just not comfortable/happy in the Striker, it does go well though

Re: Here I go again
The car is now pretty much back together I’ve just got to put the boot box and top back on but it thought I’d pressure wash off the diff etc while it’s easy to get to. Just ran it around the block and it all seems to work as expected. I’ve just made a cover for where the old clocks were for now I’ll make a new dash eventually once I’m happy with where the speedo is.

You don’t hang around, when I left you, you had cables hanging out all over the place.
Thanks for the test drive in the striker, someone is going to get a very quick car.

Who needs first gear anyway

I didn’t know your road was 20mph
And quite handy for calibration with that speed trap
