How hard can it be to make things out of fibreglass after all boys have been making canoes at school for years.
Stiff upper one chaps we can do it.
What could possibly go wrong.

My brother outlaw is a fibres plasterer so he has all the bits needed latex stuff, plaster etc to make mold . It cant be that had to make something that looks better than what we have already and if it does go wrong its only £35

Hey doddy, yours is even more difficult with those vents, although we do like a challenge !!

The £35 I mentioned was no where near enough for a whole bonnet. Personally I would not even think of making it yourself as you have to make the buck / mould first to the exact negative and smooth shape before you make the bonnet. Then ther's the gel coat and then the GRP. Ali bonnet from a fabricator much better idea IMHO.
