Found them to be at good money i just wish you could turn the sodding airbags off i would have one by now if ya could and it would be at tts.

So spent the last few days removing all the sound proofing which weighed 15kg's surprising as there isnt that much really. Now in the process of removing all the seam sealent from the inside of the car so it can be fully seam welded to make it more rigid.

The shell gets tag welded this is when you do a 2" weld and leave a 2" space this includes around the door and window frames as well. Cleaning the sealer off and doing the welding is a labour of love and he loves his honda's.
Rich It pays to do it the correct way first time why the car is like this as once a shell starts to move about the job becomes a nightmare.
The process that Jay is doing is standard motor sport stuff lots of it are unseen . he will also have to do most of the under side as well.
You end up with a very stiff body/chassis

The passenger air bag has a separate fuse for it , so pull the fuse or put a switch in and you get your wish

I have read about people putting in a switch....but it was after she drove the cayman now i'm finding it hard to justify. :(
