How do you make petrol?

It shows a lack of joined up thinking. What do I mean by that? Well the technology and batteries used to make electric cars are very expensive ecologically because they are using rare minerals that are difficult to mine and have toxic byproducts and there's the question of how do we generate all that electricity. In the end personal transport will become a privilege of the super rich if we are not careful.

Run your petrol engine on Methane / Propane?

Or Alcohol - you can make that yourself :D

I'll be 70 then and am planning (if still around) to be running on Spiced rum and wine gums. I will not be running an electric car but may have to cope with a pimped up mobility scooter with minilites or revolution 4 spokes. I'll be swearing at those 'cars' as they go by, feckin tree huggers! I blame the Iphone and that interweb thingymajig
