Looks like a heavy impact but the main thing is that your ok. Cars can be fixed.
Hope you can look back at this and say your lucky.
All the best

I had a new set of R1Rs on.
I gave Westfield a call on Thursday with a parts list, ouch!

Well the stip down is done and the damage can be assessed. The chassis is going to need some work...

We'll done for cracking on and getting it stripped down.
It's a sad sight but at least it is on it's way back.
Rich.

Looks like you are steaming into it. Are you going to straighten the chassis or put some new sections in? I have got a 10 tonne hydraulic ram with lots of different ends if that helps

Re: Busa bites back
It was quite an impact by all accounts, so I would be happier if the chassis was repaired on a jig.
Preferably with new tubes welded in.
Well done for getting stuck in Steve, the sooner it is mended, the quicker you can get out enjoying it again
By the way, if you need to fit any new body panels, Rob has a tool my Dad made which helps locate the old holes in the chassis tubes.

Re: Busa bites back
Thanks for the offers and suggestions.
Dick and Wilf popped over this evening to cast their expert eyes over the chassis, thanks guys. There was nothing that worried them too much, nothing that a bit of time and effort won't put right, and some careful measuring too. I'm now in the Snodland kit-car repair and upgrade queue...
