So the day arrived today to say good bye to the old. Bit of a sad day as you can imagine the crx took me many years of building then developing to make it the weapon it was. She was like a guided missile.

We had a good 5 hours onit today pulling it apart to start getting it ready to transfer all the bits over to the new one. This is the state of play at the end of the day (sorry dad for the mess)

Extra kudos if you keep those wheels and wheel trims on the Civic after the conversion :D

"I think I got it wrong again dad?!" "It just came away in my hand!"

Those under 50 may we struggle with that statement??!!

Nice job Jay, how many cups of tea did Beefy make for you? ;)

No cups of tea were harmed during the afternoon, I did cut myself on a meat pie though, (note to self don't eat the foil next time..)

Obviously Jays enthusiasm is rubbing off, Dick showed me his new mods to his daily driver, embracing the ricer ethos and making a great matching towcar for the project. Dick being modest and all that, wasn't gonna unveil it till the North Weald handling day when he was gonna go for the course record with all the extra down force and aero.. anyhow he let post a preview image below, just needs a coat of Aldi emulsion to finish..
