Great work Matt, looking a very tidy job. Sadly mixed fortunes with MK, Neil doesn't seem to have any issues with them, though lots of bad press out on the forums.

Yes I know Neil has had no problems with them but it's taken 2 months to get a set of engine mount brackets and it's been a nightmare to get hold of them. Apparently Danny has had some family issues and had to take time off so can't be too hard on him, but a little communication from them would have been nice.

Great looking job your doing, I do admire you guys swopping engines it looks complicated but you seem to just go for it and make a lovely job.
I spent a couple of hours today fitting an rac roll bar and ended up with scrapped knuckles and not everything went as easy as I thought it would.

It has gone fairly well and I've had no real problems doing the swap, yet! you just have to take your time and pick the jobs off bit by bit.

Great progress Matt, I'd still be thinking about things at this stage and you're nearly finished! My friend has bought a MK IndyR kit from MK and he has had some delays, think the guy lives very much hand to mouth from what I've been told...

Today I managed to skive off work early to get some time on the car. So I soldered the wiring joins except the rev counter which is only reading half at the moment, I've found what to do to cure it so just need to get round to it.moved the car out of the garage and ran it up properly to find it pushing the water out. Swapped some hoses around which seemed to cure it, I think. Tried the clutch etc all seems ok but could do with a bit more adjustment. Balanced the carbs. Gave it a quick blast down my road and it seems to go well :D .
So i think I just need to do a proper job on the header tank hose so I can refit it and not have it swinging on the pipes unless someone tells me I've messed it up on my other post :? . Then I can give it a proper run

You're exhaust manifold set up is begging for a turbo, no?

Wrong flange for a turbo isn't it? Needs to have a more square one like the T3 one found on a cvh turbo.
Well done Mate btw, looks very good. :)

Er no, not at the moment let me get this set up first! it's the wrong flange anyway

I have redone some of the coolant pipes tonight and all seems good now. Ran it round the block and it drives ok a little hesitation and spitting on the carbs at times which I think I've stopped by adjusting the mixture a bit for now but once it's all properly setup it should be fine
