Re: Ultima Build
My reg application was moving slowly, maybe around 4 weeks. Phoned DVLA and they agreed should be quicker, then a day or two later a reg arrived. So worth chasing after a couple of weeks.

Still grinning from ear to ear and the feeling from driving it on the road for the very first time won’t fade for some time. Absolutely immense.

Re: Ultima Build
Some news on the registration progress; the DVLA rang today to advise it would be registered as an 18 plate pending an invoice to evidence the engine was rebuilt to an as new condition.
That was a bit difficult when I rebuilt it myself but with that information all they required was a written statement via email that stipulated I had used new parts (invoiced) and my own time to build it. Very pleasant to deal with and helpful too.
Fingers crossed I get the logbook through next week so I can get plates made for the 1st!
