“New” Lancia Am I missing something?

Postby Nash » Sun May 20, 2018 12:24 pm

I thought Lancia had left the building? Saw this in the taxi on the way to the Airport in Rome yesterday. A “new” looking Lancia Therma. Are Lancia still making cars?

They have been all the time, they just aren't imported into the Uk. They haven't made a car I would want to buy since the Integrale, so it isn't a great loss :(

The Dedra Turbo was a hell of a car. In its day it was more powerful and lighter than an Escort RS Cosworth. I drove one round Silverstone and it was a shock :? :D

I saw a UK registered new Lancia in a supermarket carpark yesterday, so they might be making a return.

It will be a pile of rust by Christmas, as Tony said, they fell to bits with rust loading on to a ferry in Italy, let alone here

In recent years they have been badged as Chryslers in the UK to avoid the "Skoda effect"

Getting picked up at Milan airport in a Lancia Voyager on Friday for our Morgan road trip.

It was a nice inside and Luigi, the Milan Morgan dealer, said it was a shame that Lancia were not getting the investment that other Marques are getting in the Fiat group. He was a Lancia dealer when they had the Delta and Rallye in the line up and is disappointed they have no plans to innovate again.
