Re: My MEV GType build - MX5 Mk2 donor
Looking good, I've spent most of the week fettling side pods and the fixings for these, just 'new' silencer to fit which might mean opening the face of the pod.......not sure I'd have the stamina or time to build from scratch. May drop over to take a look assuming I can remember how mine goes back together

Nice new anti corrosion brakes and Mintex pads all fitted, great quality and price
Look great behind my black Rota Grid alloys (ignore crappy tyres)
Lastly Ive started mocking up my CAT to back box exhaust with stainless flexi
Just need to buy some couplings now...

Re: My MEV GType build - MX5 Mk2 donor
Some more progress.
I decided to take the copper pipes out so that the car is now fully braided for brakes and fuel.
Mocked up a bracket for the Acewell dash
I was going to use the donor loom but bought one from SVC so set to work labelling it all up and then laying it VERY loosely to work out all the runs and options for final fixing.
Also fitted the rear wing stays which are a great design and use the old mounting point for the now defunct ABS sensors
Loads of other stuff has gone on but Im at that stage of a build where a lot of it isn't photo or thread update worthy.
Cheers
