Re: Locost ''Eleanor'' Rebuild
Nope just the master cylinder, I've got HiSpec front callipers and had sierra drums on the back, which I've changed to MX5 rear callipers. Biggest improvement I made on the brakes was the front callipers from the sierra ones. It went from always having to stand on the brakes to proper light pressure for slowing etc
Yes I've been drinking, what of it!!

Re: Locost ''Eleanor'' Rebuild
Spent second week of holiday tackling a mega clean of my small( storage ) garage and me workshop to fill up Honda that has now gone for scrap, moved one set of racking to store all my painting gear on and replace it with the powder coating over. So workshop looks nice and clean.
Once done I started to replace the servo and master cylinder ( video and story to follow when completed),
Picked up a few things from work this afternoon to set me up for weekend, including replacing the frame and cover on the sand blaster so I can carry on with preparing the cam cover for recovering.
Think I have had my money worth out of it.
Also picked up the pliers and rings so I can try and get the seat back together

Re: Locost ''Eleanor'' Rebuild
Once I had finally managed to media blast all the original powder coating off the cam cover and washed and flooded it to get all the grit out It was time to clean it with Acetone and tape up the parts not for coating and decide on a colour.
Now waiting for a gasket set for it.
The bits not coated will be covered up by the trim and hoses etc.
