As other have said.. a bit of a hiccup, you’ll get the result in the end Rich.

Is it a RAL colour or car specific? Nice colour, looks a bit like the Jaguar blue they’ve used recently,
Power.. small nail, fast hammer, Torque.. small nail, big hammer.. I got a big hammer :P

I had an idea of what I wanted and looked for RAL codes but when I went to the paint shop it did not seem to mean much as seemed different car manufactors have their own versions!
So I did a bit of man shopping on their flip charts and was sorted in about 90 seconds.

Having done a coat of proper spray primer last night, I have done another earlier today and have the heater on hoping to get another one later today and then a couple of days drying before trying out the sanding blocj to see how bad things are.

Rather than sit and watch paint dry I went and picked up my new brake shoes on a visit to work anyway and having deliberately got the half shaft bearings replaced before lock down I put the powder coated back plate on the dvrs side shaft and with some moving round of kit in the narrow build area I managed to get shaft in and bolted, reassembled new brake cylinder, shoes, springs and finally nice red pc drum.

With that done I started on cleaning the other side, having left it together till now for reference but took a few pics just incase.

Now drying out the media in the sand blasting cabinet before cleaning and doing the other side.

It's nice when you can see you're making progress :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed on the paint issue, good luck!

Spent a few hrs over the last week, half hr here and there loading up the 6 panels with filler and primer filler on the areas that I had to take back a few steps due to the reaction.
Spent a couple of hrs in the afternoon sun yesterday after hrs on the laptop, phones and video conference calls on sanding back with 600 wet and dry on a few flat blocks and a black guide coat to highlight the highs and lows on three of the panels that are now a variety of different coulurs and looking OK.once I have done the rest I will give them all another coat of primer where needed followed by a light sand annd try again. soon.

That might not be a reaction with what's on your car it might a reaction from your hardener Wich can go on even when it's dry.it also can be it on to thick to start with
