probably want to consider cable management, (poss overkill) but ensuring that the cables can be tucked away unstressed. Also I keep mine under the dash as I'm worried that it'll get wet if I leave exposed. I know that some have half tonneau covers (Tony B) or are roof happy (K) but what are the rest experiencing?

Under the half tonneau works very well. Not only dry but out of sight when parked up.

mine needs relocating, its behind me on the rear bulkhead - in the middle in a phone carrier thingy....been exposed to all manner of weather and ...touch wood....
