Paint Protection

Postby Weathers » Mon Jan 27, 2020 10:38 am

Good morning one and all.

Has anyone had protective paint film fitted to their cars and if so:

1) Which bit's did/would you protect on a 7 and a saloon? (I'm thinking front bumper/nose cone, wing mirrors, rear arches despite having protectors on there and perhaps cycle wings). Any others;

2) Who did you use and to fit what product; OR

3) If DIY which product did you use?

Thanks all.

Chris

I used to wish I had applied protective film to my Seven as it is covered in chips. However, I have now spoken to two people who have told me that if the film gets discoloured or damaged, you can't easly replace it, so you end up having to have a respray anyway.
