Rolling Road

Postby Rickyrjb » Tue May 12, 2020 5:00 pm

Hi all,

Following my winter upgrades I would now like to get my engine correctly setup / tuned.

However because its running on Bike Carbs, does this limit the options as it requires knowledge of both car engines and bike carbs ??

I know there are specialists like Dan St and Bog Bros but they are all the other end of the country..

Anyone more local to the south east that has expert knowledge in this area???

I'd second BD Engineering, Andy transformed the Sprite and it was far from standard.
Tiger Cat E1 - 2008-2009
Tiger R6 - 2009-2014
Austin Healey Sprite - 2014-2018
Fisher Fury Le Mans - 2018-2019

I'd third that! He worked wonders with my pinto on twin 45s.
Technically though, he is in Newington. The Rainham side, but Newington none the less... :D

Yes your right it is Newington, i never pined it down to the small village as you blink and you've drove through it, i know this because i live in Newington and the amount of people that never new it existed and still dont. Most people i know never new of it when i moved here even people now foget about it.
Just figured Rainham would be easier to work out. My bad.

Spoke to Andy at BD today and its booked for next Thursday.. Exciting stuff

Unfortunatly wont be allowed in the workshop when its being done due to COVIC stuff, so will just have to sit outside and wait for the slip of paper I guess.

Will keep you posted on the news.
