thats pretty poor what make were they? usually i would say have you checked the turbo seals but i would guess you have hence why the head is off.

was just watching your rolling road videos notice he put ear defenders on the second go lol if my new lump produces half of that i am going to be a happy boy :D

just out of interest what box are you using as i haven't seen any manufacturer claim their box will take that kind of torque

Its a t5 gearbox, was thinking of doing the seal and bearing, but think i'll be pushing it for stonleigh,The valve seals are victor heinz, not sure if its a common make, but have been recomended a set from matt lewis.Turbo was dry,but had a fair bit of oil coming down the exhaust and inlet guides, you only really noticed it when you left it ticking over for about ten minutes. When you blipped the throttle you got a puff of smoke, also when i gun it,you get a puff, but that could be fuel,as it is overfueling at the mo on boost

Better get a move on Matt or there will be a tent space at Stoneleigh ;)

You said it wasn't singing properly when we got back on the ferry.

Good hunting.

Quite common, but you have to soak them in tomato source, there are 57 varieties, they sometimes cause gas in your crank case etc etc
