Went down to bournmouth yesterday and picked up a luego! 1.6 xflow (Not the exactly what i was after but seems i cant get that for budget but got this nice and cheap so have lots left to get the power i want)nicely built with what seems a decent chassis,as you may have noticed last night it was a little damp and my first drive in a 7 with no windscreen(took it off as no wipers fitted) was a 3hour unusual experience!!!
The guy who sold it me and who built it had never had it out in the rain or over 60mph so its had a decent shake down back to kent nothing fell off all electrics worked fine....i had a wet bum.
Pics latter when the boss gets back from the nags and shows me how(i will just get her to do it)
got one!!

Well done. Let the fun begin. You'll soon start to loathe climbing back in the tintop. Unless its raining!

Re: got one!!
Nice one, congrats! Going by your account of the drive home last night, it sounds like you've got totally the right mindset for this club and you're gonna love the whole 7 experience. Now let the upgraditus take hold - embrace it!
Oh, did anyone mention pics? Pictures are obligatory round here else it didn't happen.
Hope to see u out and about soon.

Re: got one!!
The upgrading has already being planned.....by me mates lol...i dropped it off at the workshop last night so it was nice and warm to dry out that way maybe all the dirt will fall off so i dont have to wash it! ?....
Getting back into me mate 530 was rather nice for the short drive back i have to say as he has windows and dry seats lol......but not as much fun.got tge hang of it a bit more by the top of the m3 thought it was a bit twitchy at first but realised its just all very direct no power steering etc when you move a bit so does the wheel!!! A very different world from a lifted jeep with big mud tyres....which steers by the force!!

Re: got one!!
I bet the car had a little shock on the way home after not being driven in the wet or over 60!
You may discover some small niggles now it's started being driven properly.
Enjoy
